Prior to establishing his own private law practice, Mr. Longo worked on numerous political campaigns and in Rhode Island state government, where he served as Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor and as policy aide at the Department of Business Regulation. He has represented clients before governmental agencies, state courts, including the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Longo is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In addition, he is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), and the Rhode Island Association for Justice. He regularly presents continuing legal education (CLE) programs and has been featured in news stories about consumer issues in the Providence Journal, Providence Business News, on WJAR NBC-10, FOX-25 Boston, 630 WPRO AM and Radio PODER 1110 AM.
